Piruze is a Partner at Square Peg based in Singapore and investing in fintech, AI and SaaS companies with global ambitions. Before joining us, she built and scaled the Stripe team in Southeast Asia as employee #1 in the region and one of the first 200 employees globally. At Stripe, Piruze managed the Southeast Asia and Greater China markets, where she built various global teams and worked directly with engineers to launch new countries.

Before Stripe, Piruze was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company San Francisco and Southeast Asia, focusing on healthcare, tech and M&A projects across the globe. Prior to McKinsey, she co-founded a consumer healthcare company in San Francisco – building healthy habits using the power of casual games – and worked at Dell.

Piruze has been an advisor to Asian Development Bank and Kodluyoruz, and serves on the board of Hotmart, a growth-stage tech company enabling creators to build and sell their courses globally.

Piruze earned a BBA degree from ODTU, studied at the University of Texas, and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.
